This is a Colt .38 Detective Special, popular among law enforcement in California during the 1940s and 1950s. A famous companion of many a Noir detective in film, this was done as a prop for an upcoming character I working on - an older, frazzled Noir detective from the late 1940s. Expect to see concepts and the initial work on the character posted sometime this week.
