Chimp Sketch
A quick sculpt sketch I knocked out in about an hour and half the other day. I wanted to do something that wasn't a human, but wasn't so extreme as an alien creature. Googling for 'hairless chimp' got me a lot of great reference. It is truly uncanny how much more chimps resemble humans without all the fur.
Digital Sculpting
This is a custom head that I built to use as a base to sculpt on.
My first sculpt using it was based on the above concept art by Simon Lissaman of Marv from Frank Miller's "Sin City". I added a bandage to the nose, as it didn't seem like Marv without a busted sniffer. You can see the results below.

Colt .38 Detective Special
This is a Colt .38 Detective Special, popular among law enforcement in California during the 1940s and 1950s. A famous companion of many a Noir detective in film, this was done as a prop for an upcoming character I working on - an older, frazzled Noir detective from the late 1940s. Expect to see concepts and the initial work on the character posted sometime this week.

Rig Controllers Progress
Update on the Tali rig. Many of the controllers have been added and set up, but some more remain, as well as hiding unneeded controls.
Rig Progress
Progress on my custom rig of Bioware's Tali from Mass Effect. A few tweaks to the weighting still needs to be done, but otherwise, all advanced knee and foot set-ups are done, IKs set up on the arms and legs, etc. Controller shapes are next.
